Exciting changes for the Happy Half!
We are always trying to make the Happy Half Marathon more enjoyable for everyone. We want to make our event experience unforgettable for our runners, volunteers, and spectators because without their support, none of this would be possible. Part of doing that means being willing to make changes on our part to help you and make you want to continue to be part of our community.
As you already know, this year Yellow Springs Brewery will be the 2019 Official After-Party of the Happy Half Marathon. Now we have made it even easier for you to join the party!
So what is the change?
This year, with a slight route adjustment to the start of the race, we will be moving the finish line up by about 100 yards.
Why?
Thanks to our friends at the Yellow Springs Brewery, our post-race events will all take place in a new location - just behind the brewery! This way, you will not have to walk down to the Community Center for post-race events and then back to the brewery for a pint. Instead, everything will be all in one place!
In the space behind the brewery, we will hold our post-race awards ceremony, key pickup, snacks and water for runners, and have our DJ playing music for you entertainment. We will also be moving our shuttle pickup to the brewery to make it that much easier for you!
